Originally from Stuttgart, Germany where her father worked in the service, Sheila MacFarlane has since permanently taken residence in Barton, Vermont where she has raised her three sons. Her professional experience includes working as a dental technician across Vermont and more recently, working at the North Country Hospital. Outside of work Sheila serves as a board member of Orleans County Citizen Advocacy (OCCA) and volunteers as a mentor, advocate, and friend of adults who have developmental disabilities. Additionally, Sheila has volunteered for Orleans Community Meal Site and as a youth group leader at the Brownington Center Church for the past two decades. In her spare time, Sheila bakes with her grandchildren, spends time in her extensive vegetable and flower gardens, and is passionate about her crafting which you can find for sale at local fairs. Since 2017 Sheila has been the receptionist at S&D Accounting Services helping clients and contributing as an integral member of the business.
